COMMERCE, Texas – Beyonce Bea scored a game-high 27 points and added 10 rebounds for her 19th-career double-double, but the Vandals fell to Texas A&M Commerce 88-72 Wednesday afternoon in Texas.
Idaho led 37-27 in the first half, but the Lions rallied to cut the Vandal lead to 39-37 at halftime. Commerce then outscored the Vandals 51-33 in the second half to pull away from the Vandals and earn the 16-point win.
Along with Bea's double-double,
Brooke Malone scored a career-high 13 points, including 6-9 from the field.
Rosa Smith also added 10 points for the Vandals.
Idaho is back in action Saturday at 11 a.m. PT against the UTSA in San Antonio.
