COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. – The Idaho Vandal men's golf team finished 10th among a strong field and tough conditions at the SeattleU Redhawk Invite at Chambers Bay Golf Course on Puget Sound in Washington.

The tournament was cut to just one round after two rounds were canceled Monday due to conditions at the course.

"I'm really proud of the guys today," head coach David Nuhn said. "They battled all round and we knew with a one-round event that every shot was going to matter today. The mindset was to be the most mentally tough team out there on the conditions, if we could do that we would have success. I thought we finished well, the lessons we learned in Eugene at the Duck Invite carried forward to this event. That's great to see as a coach. I'm happy for T.J. and Jose to top 15 and we are excited for the El Macero classic in two weeks."

Jose Suryadinata and T.J. Patterson finished tied for 15th with a score of 74. Patterson tallied three birdies while Suryadinata had two in the round.

Colt Sherrell finished 31st with a score of 74. Jack Plaster finished with a score of 79 and finished tied for 86. Tommy McKenzie finished with an 82 to tie for 111th.

The Vandals are off next week before playing the El Macero Classic in California on April 20-22 before playing the Big Sky Conference Championship at Talking Stick on April 25-27 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
