MARICOPA, Ariz. – Every Vandal moved up the leaderboard in the final round of the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club.

The Vandals put up a team score of 297, their best of the tournament and the best round of any Big Sky Conference team in the field. The team moved up to 15th on the team leaderboard.

"I am really proud of the way the team came back strong today in the final round," head coach Stephanie Young said. "We are excited to continue to build momentum towards the last two weeks of the season."

Vicky Tsai scored a team-best 73 to move up six spots into a tie for the 29th on the individual leaderboard. Yvonne Vinceri tallied 74, her best round of the tournament to move up 15 spots to finish tied for 79th with a score of 235.

Valeria Patino scored a third-round score of 75 to move up one spot to a tie for 50th, Eddie Hsu jumped up three spots after scoring an 80 to finish with a 242 and Jenna Bruggeman jumped 10 spots to finish with a 243.

The Vandals are back on the road next Monday and Tuesday at the Chamber's Bay Invitational.

The Big Sky Conference Championship is scheduled for April 18-20 at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.
