SAN DIEGO – Maddy Lasher scored her second goal of the season in the 11th minute and
Jadyn Hanks scored in the 38th minute, but San Diego State put on an offensive showcase and earned a 7-2 win Sunday afternoon at the SDSU Sportsdeck in San Diego.
Lasher got the scoring going with a breakaway and a deflected shot which snuck past the goalkeeper at the post.
The Aztecs scored three goals in quick succession to take a 3-2 lead before Hanks scored a rebound goal during a corner kick.
SDSU added two more goals before the half and two after the break to pick up the five-goal win.
