MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men's golf team plays in four fall tournaments and six spring tournaments, including the Bandon Dunes Championship, to highlight the 2022-23 schedule in coach
David Nuhn's eighth year at the helm.
The Vandals open the season at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invite at the Air Force Academy's Blue Course in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Sept. 9-11. The course is one of the longest in the country at over 7,500 yards to accommodate the 7,000-foot elevation.
Idaho then travels to the Derek Dolenc Invite at Gateway National Golf Club in Madison, Ill., just across the river from St. Louis. The tournament is hosted by Southern Illinois Edwardsville and will take place on Sept. 26-27.
Oregon State hosts the OSU Invite on October 10-11 before Idaho travels to the Visit Stockton Pacific Invite on Oct. 20-22 at the Stockton Country Club in Stockton, Calif., to close out the fall campaign.
The Vandals open the spring season at the Loyola Intercollegiate at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Phoenix, Ariz. on Feb. 26-28.
On March 12-14, the Vandals host the Bandon Dunes Championship, the only collegiate golf tournament at the legendary Bandon Dunes Resort. The field will again include some of the best teams in the nation.
This year's tournament will be held on the original Bandon Dunes Course. The 6,732-yard, par-72 course was originally opened in 1999 and set the tone for the Bandon Dunes Resort which now includes five premiere full courses that are all listed among the top-100 courses in the US and a beautiful par-three course.
The Vandals travel to the Eugene Country Club for the Oregon Duck Invite on March 20-21 before playing at the Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash., for the Seattle U Redhawk Invitational on April 3-4.
The Vandals play at the El Macero Classic in Davis, California, on April 14-16 to close out the regular-season before playing at the Big Sky Conference Championship on April 24-26 at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.
