MOSCOW, Idaho - The Vandals open the home schedule by hosting Nevada at the Kibbie Dome at 1 p.m. Sunday. Idaho is 1-1 after a trip to San Diego. The Wolfpack are coming off of a 1-1 draw against Eastern Washington in Cheney. The Vandals and Wolfpack have met 12 times with a 6-6 record. Fans in attendance will recieve free rumble sticks.
ABOUT IDAHO: Idaho split the opening weekend of play, shutting out UC San Diego 2-0 before falling to San Diego State 7-2. The Vandal offense played well in both outings, scoring two goals in each match, but the defense was inconsistent. Freshman
Kira Witte Shined at goalkeeper in her debut, earning a shutout and
Maddy Lasher score goals in both games.
ABOUT NEVADA: Nevada is 0-1-1 after a pair of road matches. The Wolfpack fell in their opener 3-2 to UC Riverside before earning a 1-1 draw against Eastern Washington. Three Nevada players have goals and every goal so far has been assisted. Erin Otagaki is in her 7th season leading Nevada soccer.
ADDING DEPTH: The Vandals return their top six scorers off of last year's team, including Honorable Mention All-Big Sky honoree
Jadyn Hanks (five goals, 11 points) and fifth-year player Savannah Foster (five goals, three GWG). Six transfers and six freshman have joined the Vandal squad this season, adding depth and talent to an already solid roster.
SUPER SENIOR: Savannah Foster took advantage of her extra season due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. She will be entering her fifth year as a Vandal. She has played in 64 games and made 51 starts, including the last 42 consecutive games. The last game that she didn't start for Idaho was Sept. 8, 2019 against UC Riverside.

Kira Witte opened her career with a shutout win. She faced seven shots and grabbed five saves. The freshman played for German Frauen-Bundesliga, including two appearances for the first division team.
COACHING STAFF: Jeremy Clevenger, the spring 2021 Big Sky Coach of the Year, made some adjustments to his coaching staff this season, veteran assistant coach
Sean Mapson was promoted to Associate Head Coach. The Vandals also welcomed in first-year assistant
Madison Kroger.
