MOSCOW, Idaho – Kira Witte faced ten shots and made three saves to earn her sixth consecutive shutout and seventh total, but the Vandals couldn't find the back of the net and Idaho played North Dakota State to a scoreless draw Friday night at the Kibbie Dome.
The Vandals outshot NDSU 13-10 and earned five corner kicks to just one for the Bison, but both goalkeepers performed well to keep clean sheets.
The Vandals are now 5-1-2 on the year at the end of non-conference play with Weber State looming in the Big Sky Opener Thursday in Ogden.
Jayd Sprague tallied four shots, all on-goal, and
Jadyn Hanks added three, also all on-goal to lead the Vandal offense.
The Vandals played without reigning Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week
Maddy Lasher, who was injured in the second half of last week's game.
