LAST TIME OUT
Idaho will look to bounce back after a pair of conference losses last week against Sacramento State (3-1) and Montana (3-0). The Vandals got off to a hot start in their home opening match against the Hornets, taking the first set 25-18. A close 23-25 loss in the second followed before Sac State eventually won the final two sets (14-25, 21-25) to close out the match. Three Vandals led the charge offensively with Olivia Gloeckner (12), Allison Munday (11) and Taryn Vrieling (10) all recording double digits in kills. It was again Kate Doorn starting at setter for Idaho, as she posted 34 assists with zero errors. Defensively, Travel Morris posted a game-high five blocks and libero Aine Doty tied a personal best in digs with 16.

A road trip to Missoula followed as the Vandals fell in three sets to the Grizzlies, 21-25, 14-25, 16-25. It was another quick start by Idaho in the first set as UI held an 11-5 advantage but quickly saw its lead slip away after Montana went on a 5-0 run and 4-0 run to take back the lead and eventually earn the opening set victory. Madison Wilson posted eight kills to lead the Vandal attack while Doorn recorded 18 assists. For the third consecutive match, Morris posted five blocks.
