Vandal Men's Golf Opens Season at Air Force

MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandal men's golf team tees off the season at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invite hosted by the Air Force Academy at the Academy Blue Course in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The tournament will take place over three days.

The Vandals are led by junior Jose Suryadinata and senior Colt Sherrell coming off top-10 finishes at the Big Sky Championship last spring and a solid summer of competition.  Sophomore Tommy McKenzie and junior Matt McGann will also be in the lineup joined by freshman Sam Johnson.

Idaho will take to the Blue Course at the Eisenhower Golf facility on the campus at the Air Force Academy. The course is nearly 7,500 yards to compensate for the ball flight of the course that sits at nearly 7,000 feet of elevation.

The tournament field includes schools from all over the country, including ACC, Mountain West, Missouri Valley, WAC, Big West, Pac 12 schools and more. The first Vandal is scheduled to tee off at 9:10 a.m. pacific.

Live scoring will be available via Golfstat. Scores will update after the ninth and 18th hole.
