FARMINGTON, Utah - The Big Sky Conference has tabbed Yvonne Vinceri its Female Golfer of the Week following her first career solo victory at Eastern Washington's Eagle Invitational. The junior's final score of 209 (-4) helped the Vandals earn their first tournament title since 2018. This is Vinceri's second career conference weekly honor.

Vinceri held a share of the lead after day one with an opening 71 and a bogey-free 68 in the second round on Monday.

She then pulled away Tuesday, shooting a final round 70 as the only golfer to finish under par. Her dominant closing performance included five birdies on the back nine to clear a seven stroke lead from the runner-up.

The Vandal women travel to Boulder City, Nevada, Oct. 22nd to compete in the Clash at Boulder Creek where Vinceri also took home conference weekly honors a year ago.
