LOGAN, Utah – The Idaho women's tennis team fell on the road to Utah State, 5-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Sports Academy & Racquet Club. 

To begin the match Utah State took a 1-0 lead, winning all three doubles matches.
 
In singles play, the Vandals earned two victories at No. 4 and No. 6 but it was the Aggies who took the remaining four matches in straight sets to get the dual victory. 

In the No. 4 spot, Selin Sepken dominated in straight sets to get Idaho on the scoreboard. She posted a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Laura F E De Hilario to earn her third win of the season. 

Lena Beckx followed at the No. 6 position with a victory over Utah State's Indya Nespor. Beckx split sets one and two with Nespor before finishing out the match with a 10-2 tiebreak decision to post her first collegiate singles win.

The Vandals return to Moscow to host their first conference match of the season on March 1 against Eastern Washington. Dual action against the Eagles is scheduled for 3 p.m. inside the Kibbie Dome.
