MOSCOW, Idaho – Vandal men's golf hosts the 14th annual Bandon Dunes Championship, which tees off Sunday morning on the Oregon Coast. This year, 18 teams from all over the country will play the original Bandon Dunes Course which sits at 6,676 yards and will play a par 72.
The weather will be a factor for the tournament as rain and heavy winds are expected all three days.
The tournament is Idaho's second of the spring after finishing 8th at the Loyola Intercollegiate in Arizona.
The field at Bandon includes four Pac-12 teams and others from the Big East, Sun Belt, Big West, Big Sky, Mountain West, Summit and more.
Returning champion Oregon brings a solid ranking while returning individual medalist, San Jose State's Caleb Shetler, returns to defend his title.
Senior
Colt Sherrell led the Vandals last season, finishing 11th in the tough field.
