MOSCOW, Idaho -- The Idaho men's tennis team earned a sweep at home this weekend to cap off its final matches at the Kibbie Dome for the 2023 spring season, as they posted three home victories over North Dakota, Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) and Whitworth University.

The Vandals began the weekend with a 5-2 win over North Dakota (15-4) on Friday, March 17. Idaho grabbed the doubles point to open the match and picked up four singles wins to take down the Fighting Hawks. 

Idaho hosted a doubleheader on Saturday, March 18, sweeping LCSC (7-0) and Whitworth (7-0) to finish out a perfect home slate in the Kibbie Dome (5-0). Out of the two matches, the Vandals posted straight-set victories in all 12 singles matches. 

Idaho improves to 8-6 this season and carries a four-match win streak into a conference road match at Idaho State next week. The Vandals face the Bengals on March 25 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time in Pocatello, Idaho.
