MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho women's golf coach Stephanie Young has announced the addition of Emma Heyman, an incoming freshman from Linkoping, Sweden, a small city on the shores of the Baltic Sea.
 
Heyman, is ranked 19th in Sweden for U21 and has several top-10 finishes this year, including a second-place finish at the Galvin Green Junior Open in May.
 
"We are thrilled to add Emma Heyman to our Vandal Women's Golf program! Emma brings a great deal of tournament experience and success over her junior career. She also has maintained excellent marks in the classroom while competing in multiple team sports."
 
In 2022, she was part of the women's Swedish Championship Team and the Swedish Junior Team Championship.
 
She picked up a tournament championship at the 2022 Teen Tour Future Tournament on the back of a first-round 69.
 
Heyman was a multisport athlete who captained her soccer and floorball teams.
 
She will join the rest of the Vandals on campus later this month.
