SPOKANE, Wash. – The Idaho volleyball team (1-3) fell in three sets to UC San Diego (3-2), 21-25, 14-25, 17-25, on Friday afternoon at the Gonzaga Tournament.
Zuzanna Wieczorek and
Aubrey Nielson paced the Vandals on the offensive end with Wieczorek posting eight kills and Nielson recording seven.

Aine Doty and freshman middle blocker
Ceren Sert anchored the Vandal defense, as Doty totaled 15 digs and Sert had a team-high two blocks. Doty's double-digit dig performance was her fourth on the season.
Natalia Wielgus and
Lacy Cox added double digit assists with 14 and 13, respectively.
For the Tritons, Ava Mcinnes and Jasmine Saran led the team with 11 kills each.
The Vandals will finish out tournament play with two matches on Saturday, as they face host Gonzaga at 11 a.m. and Air Force at 3 p.m.
