MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho Vandal men's golf opens the season with back-to-back tournaments in Colorado beginning with the Ram Masters Invitational at the Fort Collins Country Club on Sept. 6-7 before traveling to the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational at the Eisenhower Blue course on campus at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
The Vandals are led by returning Big Sky Freshman of the Year
Joe Sykes and All-Conference Second-Team honoree
Sam Johnson. Graduate student
Johannes Hounsgaard steps into the lineup for the first tournament of the year.
Rounding out the lineup for the Vandals are transfers
Dalton Dean and
Tommy Kimmel. Dean, a Bellevue Junior College transfer is coming off an individual Northwest Athletic Conference Championship.
Kimmel, a Spokane native, is a transfer from UNLV will be in the lineup for the Vandals.
The field for the Ram Masters includes schools from the Pac-12, Big East, Big West, WAC and more. The tournament will start with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
