The Vandals come off of a successful first weekend after taking home five individual medals at the Spokane Sports Showcase on January 12th.
Noah Culbertson and
Mia Sylvester both hold the Big Sky Conference's top spots for the men's and women's shot put after their gold medal performances at the 2024 Spokane Sports Showcase.Â
Culbertson won the men's shot put, tossing 17.45m. He looks to defend his dominance this weekend after winning the men's shot put at last year's Lauren McCluskey Memorial.

Camryn Crouch and

Her entry time of 7.45 is just 0.01 behind Angela Whyte's 2003 record. Willems, a freshman, ran a personal best 7.63 at last week's Spokane Sports Showcase, the sixth fastest time in Idaho history and the third-best in the Big Sky this year.
The women's 200m slate includes three Vandals in the top five. Crouch's school record of 24.13 is the No. 1 entry time while
Olivia Martin's 24.58 is the third-best entry time and fourth in Idaho history.
Prabhasha Wickramaraachchi's 25.01 is seeded at fifth.Â
Seniors

Spencer Barrera is the reigning Lauren McCluskey and Big Sky Indoor Champion in the men's 400m. The senior enters this year's Lauren McCluskey Memorial with the No. 1 seed time of 46.60. Vandal sophomore,
Jon Watkins is seeded tenth (49.33) for the men's 400m.
On the women's side, the Vandals stack up the 400m entries. Senior Martin holds the No. 1 entry time while Wickramaraachchi stands at third.

Adeline Wimer are seeded six through eight in that order.
