MOSCOW, Idaho – University of Idaho student-athletes earned an overall 3.43 GPA for the fall 2023 semester, with 98 student-athletes earning a perfect 4.0, 266 student-athletes earned above a 3.0 GPA and a record 94% Graduation Success Rate.
The 3.43 semester GPA was Idaho's highest mark in a fall semester, led by six programs with program bests. Men's cross country led the way with a 3.89 semester GPA, which is their highest semester GPA in program history. Women's cross country was right behind, with a 3.83 GPA.
The men's and women's basketball programs earned their highest GPAs as well. The men's team boasted a 3.24 GPA, which was the best of any semester. The women's earned a 3.75 GPA, marking their best GPA in a fall semester.
Men's golf earned their highest team semester GPA of 3.67 this fall. The women's team was also successful coming in at a 3.64 GPA.
Both the football and the swim and dive teams recorded their highest fall GPAs in their respective program histories. The football team earned a 3.13 GPA during their playoff season while the swim and dive team earned a 3.71 GPA.
The men's and women's track and field teams worked hard in the off season, bringing in 3.58 and 3.67 GPAs, respectively. Every Vandal team earned a semester GPA over 3.0.

"They are a dedicated and focused group that represent the University of Idaho so well. We are also fortunate to have such great faculty here on campus."
