MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandal women's golf team is back in action for the fourth tournament in four weeks, this time at the Tri-State Invitational, hosted by Eastern Washington Sunday and Monday at the Creek at Qualchan Golf Course in Spokane, Washinton.
The tournament features teams from Idaho, Montana and Washington, including four Big Sky teams. Washington State and Gonzaga will have individual players in the field.
The course will play at 6,067 yards and par is 72. The tournament will play 36 holes on Sunday and 18 holes on Monday.
Coming off a strong performance at the Seattle U Harbottle Invitational,
Emma Kang and
Emma Heyman will golf from the No. 1 and No. 2 spots.
Zoe Newell will play from the third spot,
Jenna Bruggeman is the No. 4 golfer and
Kaylin Johnson will play at the fifth spot for Idaho.
The proximity of the course allows the Vandals to bring the entire roster. Laura Caamaño,
Boram Jung and
Sofia Lippiello will all play as individuals for the tournament.
