"I thought we prepared for this event really well. I felt like the practice leading up was good, the travel was good, the practice round was good," head coach
David Nuhn said. "Ultimately, we just didn't execute like we normally do this week. I'm glad Dalton showed up and was in the hunt for a top five finish. That's where I think he should be more often with his talent."<br />

Dean was one-under (212) for the tournament, just one stroke back from fourth place.
Sam Johnson closed the weekend with a one-under 70 in the final round to finish four-over for the tournament in a tie for 27th-place.
Matt McGann was nine-over (222) to tie for 50th place,
Joe Sykes was 10-over 223 for the weekend to finish 54th an
Charley Simpson finished 72nd at 26-over.<br />

Playing as individuals, Josh McCurtain finished five-over (218) for 30th-place,
Tommy Kimmel was 11-over to finish in a tie for 57th and
Carter Frisby was 17-over to close out the weekend in a tie for 68th place.<br />

"I think Sam was pretty steady as he usually is," Nuhn said. "We just had too many shots too far offline and at Trysting Tree you get punished hard for doing that. I was happy to see
Josh McCartain play solid from an Indy spot and we'll look for that solid play to continue from him next week at Pacific. Thanks to Coach Reehoorn and Oregon State for hosting us at their great event. There is No time to waste as we leave Saturday for our last opportunity of the fall season next week in Stockton, California."<br />
