SAN DIEGO – Idaho men's basketball dropped a neutral site contest to Southern Utah, 67-82 on Saturday afternoon at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.
The Vandals (2-4) went into the break at halftime down 25-42 and could not chip away at its double-digit deficit as the Thunderbirds maintained its advantage behind a strong offensive output.
Southern Utah broke open the game with a 16-5 run over the final seven minutes of the first period to help build the separation needed to not allow a Vandal comeback.
