FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Idaho volleyball dropped its regular season finale to Northern Arizona, 11-25, 9-25, 13-25, on Saturday night at Rolle Activity Center.
Seven Vandals recorded at least one kill on the night, including a team-leading eight kills from
Chiara Gennari.
Miya Carmichael played in her final Division 1 volleyball match, recording 15 assists to lead Idaho. In the back row,
Ada Isik tallied 11 digs.
Northern Arizona started with a first set victory, 25-11. Idaho was unable to get it going on the offensive end, tallying eight kills and four attack errors on 31 swings.
The Vandals fell in the second 25-9, falling down 2-0. Similar to the opening set, UI could not ignite its offense issuing zero aces and four kills.
The 'Jacks completed the sweep with a 25-13 win in the third. NAU built a 9-2 lead and the Vandals were unable to make a dent in the scoreboard as the Lumberjacks extended their lead to 21-12 before closing out the match with a 4-1 run.
