MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho head coach
Jason Eck announced the signing of 19 high school athletes on the first day of the 2025 Early Signing Period, Wednesday.
The defensively focused class includes seven Idahoans, five players from Washington, three from California, two from Wisconsin, and one each from Oregon and Arizona.
Positionally, Idaho has picked up eight defensive linemen, three offensive linemen, three linebackers, two defensive backs, two receivers and a quarterback.
The class is expected to expand in the coming days with the early signing period lasting until Friday.
Of the seven Idaho signees, six are from the Treasure Valley and five are defensive linemen. The lone North Idaho signee is Sawyer Hewitt, a do-everything athlete who helped lead Kendrick to four-straight Idaho 2A state championships. He is projected to play wide receiver for the Vandals.

Jason Eck's tenure to date after taking over 40 athletes each of the last two seasons.
