MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho men's golf opens the spring season at the Loyola Intercollegiate hosted by Loyola Maryland at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Arizona, Sunday through Tuesday.
 
The field includes 20 mid-major teams from across the country, including fellow Big Sky school Northern Colorado among.
 
Sam Johnson leads the way for the Vandals in the No. 1 spot after a strong fall season that saw him finish with three top-15 finishes, including a 5th-place mark at the SIUE Dolenc Invitational.
 
Johannes Hounsgaard will golf out of the No. 2 spot, building off his seventh-place finish in the fall finale at the Monterrey Collegiate Classic.
 
Matt McGann will be in the No. 3 spot for the Vandals, Joe Sykes will golf out of the fourth position and Dalton Dean will be the fifth golfer in the lineup.
 
The tournament is slated to begin with a shotgun at 6:45 Pacific. A live leaderboard will be available via Golfstat.
