MOSCOW, Idaho – The Vandal soccer team is at home this week where they will face IU Indianapolis on Thursday, August 29th at 7:00 p.m. in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

Idaho soccer finished 1-1 last week on the road, putting their record at 2-2 so far this season. On Thursday afternoon the Vandals defeated CSUN 2-1. The game nearly ended in a tie until Karli Yoshida-Williams found the net in the 53rd minute to lead the team to victory.
On Sunday night, the Vandals were once again on the road to take on Washington State. The game ended in favor of the Cougars 2-1. It was a tough match, but Margo Schoesler was able to put the Vandals on the board in the 52nd minute before the Cougars scored to secure their win. Schoesler was named Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week for her performance over the weekend.
ABOUT INDIANAPOLIS
IU Indianapolis kicked off the season with a record of 0-2-1. IU Indy hosted Toledo in their season opener, which ended in a tie 1-1. The Jaguars dropped their first two road games this weekend to Lindenwood 1-2 and Southern Illinois 0-3.
This will be the first time the Vandals and Jaguars play each other.
