LOUNDONVILLE, NY – After earning an opening tournament win over Siena College on Friday, the Idaho volleyball team dropped a pair of matches in straight sets to New Jersey Institute of Technology (23-25, 13-25, 20-25) and Syracuse (15-25, 14-25, 20-25) to close play on Saturday evening.

Idaho dropped Saturday's opening match to NJIT, 23-25, 13-25, 20-25.
Zuzanna Wieczorek anchored the Vandal offense in the matchup, posting her third double-digit kill effort of the season with 15 on a .355 clip.
Taylor Brickey and
Lauryn Arnold followed with six kills each while
Natalia Wielgus issued 29 assists.
Syracuse 3, Idaho 0
The Vandals fell in three sets to Syracuse, 15-25, 14-25, 20-25, to wrap up the final day of tournament play. Brickey was the Vandals' leader on the attack with eight kills while supplying a pair of blocks. For the seventh match this season, Wielgus tallied double-digit assists with a team-high 15.
Brickey's combined 31 kills, 12 digs and three blocks helped earn her a spot on the Siena Saints Invitational All-Tournament Team. The Bend, Oregon native had a career effort in the Vandals' 3-1 win over Siena College on Friday, supplying a personal best 17 kills.
