CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Idaho volleyball team fell to Southern Utah, 14-25, 20-25, 11-25, on Saturday afternoon.
  
Junior 
Madu Fontes led the Vandals on the attack for the second consecutive match with seven kills. Outside hitter 
Taylor Brickey followed with five kills while setter 
Miya Carmichael assisted on 13 of the Vandals' 23 kills. 
Defensively, 
Emma Patterson and 
Nisan Ozdogan each added two blocks at the net. Libero 
Ada Isik added nine digs and Carmichael tallied on seven.  
For the Thunderbirds, Andrea Spasojevic led with 11 kills on .346 attacking while Carissa Richie protected the net with seven blocks. 
Up next, the Vandals make a trip to the east coast for the Siena Saints Invitational in Loudonville, New York. Idaho will face off against host Siena College, NJIT and Syracuse.
