Idaho started slow allowing Sacramento State to build a 9-2 early lead, the Vandals battled back to take a 13-12 lead with 3:44 to play in the first before the Hornets closed the first quarter on an 8-0 run to take a 20-13 lead after the first quarter.
The second quarter was a completely different story. The Vandals outscored Sacramento State 24-2 allowing just one layup in the quarter. The Vandals closed the half on a 21-0 run to take a 37-22 lead at the half.
Sacramento State cut the lead to 48-39 at the end of the third quarter, but that is as close as they would come as the Vandals close out the 15-point win.
Aadland's 18 rebounds tied her career high from earlier in the season.
Hope Hassmann had a game-high 16 points to lead the way and
Olivia Nelson added 11 points, four assists and a career-high eight steals.

The Hornets also struggled from the free-throw line, going just 6-16 (37.5%). Idaho forced the Hornets into 20 turnovers while committing just 12.
