MOSCOW, Idaho – For a historic 42^nd-consecutive week, the Idaho Vandals football team is ranked in the top 25 polls. 

Coming in at No. 24 in this week's Stats Perform Top 25, UI has now tied the longest streak of weeks in the polls in school history. This stretch ties the previous school high of 42 weeks that started in week one of 1992 and ended after week six in 1995.
During that stretch, the Vandals were ranked number one in the nation for three weeks and were ranked in the top five for 21 of the 42 weeks. 

Following a 30-23 win over No. 3 Montana in Missoula on Oct. 15, 2022, the Vandals entered the polls ranked No. 17 and have been in the top 25 ever since. In 30 of these last 42 weeks, Idaho has been ranked in the top 10, being ranked as high as No. 3.
