MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals Football Team moved up in the Stats Perform and AFCA Coaches Polls to No. 11 and No. 13, respectively, the organizations announced on Monday morning. 

With this week's rankings, Idaho has now been ranked in the top 25 polls for 41 weeks in a row dating back to week seven of 2022. This is the second-longest stretch of consecutive weeks the Vandals have been ranked in school history, the longest stretch being 42 weeks from week one of 1992 to week six of 1995. 

Idaho is coming off an extremely tough stretch of games in which they faced off against FBS opponents Washington State and San Jose State, as well as No. 4 Montana on the road. Through five games, the Vandals (2-3) had the eighth-strongest schedule in the nation per Massey Ratings. 

Since 2022, the Vandals are 3-0 coming off the bye week, including wins against No. 3 Montana in 2022, No. 2 Montana St. in 2023, and Portland State last season.
