No. 11 UC Davis (6-2, 4-1) vs. Idaho (4-5, 2-3)
MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals (4-5, 2-3) come back to Moscow following their thrilling overtime win against No. 19 Northern Arizona, and will face the No. 11 UC Davis Aggies (6-2, 4-1) this weekend in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome. The Big Sky Conference selected this matchup as the conference's Game of the Week.
This is Idaho's penultimate home game of the 2025 season, and it is just the seventh time the two teams have met in series history. Idaho recorded a 44-14 win in the first game of the series back on Oct. 11, 1997.
Idaho enters the game following its biggest win of the season. In a Friday night showdown on ESPN2, Idaho came up clutch when it mattered most, recording its first overtime win since the 2023 FCS playoffs, and the Vandals' first win against a ranked opponent since the 2024 FCS playoffs.
UC Davis has been ranked in the top ten of the national polls for most of the season. Its two losses came against Washington in week three of the season and last week in a nail-biter against Idaho State. Quarterback Caden Pinnick has been one of the most electric players in the Big Sky Conference.
