MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandal men's golf team travels to Fresno, California for the Fresno State Nick Watney Invitational Monday and Tuesday at the Sunnyside Country Club.
The tournament is the second of the spring season for the Vandals who are coming off of a seventh-place finish at the Mesquite Desert Classic last week in Nevada.
Matt McGann will golf at the No. 1 spot,
Sam Johnson will play at No. 2,
Josh McCartain will play at No. 3,
Dalton Dean and
Joe Sykes round out the lineup at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.
Charley Simpson will play as an independent.
The Nick Watney Invite includes a bevy of Big West teams along with West Coast Conference, Mountain West and WAC teams.
The course is set to play at 6,938 yards with par set at 72. The tournament is 54 holes with two rounds set for Monday, teeing off with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m.
