MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho women's golf takes the course at Grand Canyon University of the GCU Invitational scheduled for three rounds spanning two days on Feb. 25-26 in Pheonix.
The Vandals will play a strong field that includes man Big Sky Conference teams, Big West, WAC and West Coast Conference.
The course will play 6300 yards at par 72 with a shotgun start scheduled for 7 a.m. pacific, Tuesday. The tournament will include two rounds on Tuesday and one round on Wednesday.
Idaho is coming off a seventh-place finish at the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate where
Emma Heyman led the way with a 10th-place finish.
Heyman will compete out of the No. 1 spot for the Vandals,
Kaylin Johnson will play out of the second spot. Freshman Laura Caamaño will play out of the third spot.
Emma Kang will be the No. 4 four golfer and
Zoe Newell will play from the five spot.
Jenna Bruggeman will golf as an individual.
