MOSCOW, Idaho –Head Coach Thomas Ford announced that Idaho has hired a new video coordinator and four new graduate assistant coaches.
"I am really excited about our support staff," Ford said of the new hires. "Some of them are guys that I've built relationships with since they were high school recruits! They're a hard-working group that is loyal and are future stars in the profession. This group will be the backbone of Vandal Football."
Ian Crocker: A native of Seattle, Washington, Crocker played for a season under Coach Ford at Simon Fraser. Crocker, whose Big Sky Conference ties run deep, would then go on to play outside linebacker for the Portland State Vikings for three seasons. As a Viking, Crocker played in 30 games and was named to the Big Sky All-Academic team on two occasions. Crocker joins the staff as a graduate assistant focusing on the defensive side of the ball.
Skyler Cracraft: Cracraft joins the Vandals from a family that has a rich football history, and he brings plenty of knowledge of the local football scene, as well.
Hailing from Rancho Santa Margarita, California, Cracraft played collegiately as a safety at Washington State in 2015-2016 under Mike Leach. Following his playing days, Cracraft went on to coach locally as the defensive coordinator for Logos High School and was a big part of their turnaround. Before Cracraft's arrival, Logos was surrendering 50 points per game, but by the time he left, LHS was only giving up 18 points per contest. In the two years he was there, Logos won the White Pine League championship and earned a playoff appearance in both seasons. He was also at Logos when they upset the number-one team in the nation, handing them their first loss in nearly four seasons. Cracraft joins the Vandals as a special teams quality control assistant. His brother, River, plays for the Miami Dolphins and has been in the NFL for the past seven seasons.
Tate Graham: Most recently, Graham was the video coordinator at Eastern Kentucky during the last football season. Before his stop in Richmond, he worked as a video graduate assistant at Louisiana-Monroe for several months. As an undergrad at Missouri State, Graham began his career in football film as a student assistant coach in August of 2020, graduating with his degree in Digital Film and Television Production from MSU in 2023.
JJ Lemming: Lemming joins the Vandals from Steilacoom, Washington. Collegiately, Lemming played quarterback at Central Washington where he was a team captain during his senior season. He was a two-sport student-athlete at CWU where he also was a pitcher for the baseball team. Following his playing days, Lemming's first job in football was at CWU where he was the wide receivers coach last season. CWU went 8-4 (7-2), and two of Lemmings' players, Darrien Gaines and Marcus Cook, were named to the all-conference team. CWU finished second in the conference and advanced to the playoffs during his lone season as a coach at CWU. He will be working as an offensive assistant for Idaho.
Andrew Morgan: Morgan makes his way to the Palouse from Anthem, Arizona – an area that Morgan loves and knows well. For the past three seasons, Morgan worked for Arizona football as a player personnel assistant under coaches Jed Fisch and Brent Brennan. His responsibilities included identifying and evaluating talent and coordinating official and unofficial recruiting visits. He helped the Wildcats with their 40
th-ranked recruiting class in 2023 and was a big piece in Arizona signing the 37
th-best class in the transfer portal in 2024. He also spent time as a journalist covering high school sports in Arizona. He will spend this season as a recruiting analyst for Coach Ford and the Vandals.
