OGDEN, Utah – The Idaho Vandals Women's Basketball team (17-10, 9-7) plays its final road game of the season in the Dee Events Center against the Weber State Wildcats (12-14, 9-7).

The game tips off at 1:00 p.m. pacific time and can be seen on ESPN+. It can also be heard on the Vandal Athletic Network with Doug Taylor on the call. This is the 57th overall meeting between the two teams, Idaho owns a 34-22 advantage and won the last meeting between the two teams on Feb. 1, 2025 by a score of 77-62.

The Vandals are led by head coach Arthur Moreira who is the first Brazilian head coach in division one history. In Idaho's win against Northern Colorado, Moreira tied legendary head coach Tara Vanderveer for most wins in a season by a first-year head coach in Idaho history (17).

Idaho is led offensively by Olivia Nelson who, earlier this season, set a career high of 30 points against Weber State. She later would set a new career high of 31 points on 11-15 from the floor and 4-4 from beyond the three-point line in Idaho's win against Northern Colorado. Nelson currently has 1,966 career points and is second in the Big Sky with 17.1 PPG in conference play.

Nelson's backcourt partner, Hope Hassmann, has been having a tremendous season as well. Hassmann is second on the team in scoring at 12 PPG and leads the Vandals with over three assists per outing.

One of the best rebounders in the nation, Jennifer Aadland is coming off one of her best performances as a Vandal. She put up a season high 19 points and tied her career high with four made three pointers. Aadland also corralled eight rebounds in Idaho's game against the Idaho State Bengals.

Weber State comes into the contest with a 9-7 record in Big Sky play. The Wildcats lead the Big Sky in three-point shooting (.346) and free throw percentage (.778). Taylor Smith leads Weber State with 13.4 PPG, and combo guard Kendra Parra is contributing an additional 12.4 PPG.
