MOSCOW, Idaho – Despite a great match from
Hanna Koprowska, the Idaho Vandals Women's Tennis team (11-3, 3-1) and its nine-match winning streak came to a halt on Saturday, falling to the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks (8-3, 3-0) by a tally of 5-2.
Koprowska and
Diana Khaydarshina shined bright in doubles for the Vandals, winning their match 6-4, but the Lumberjacks ultimately took the doubles point by winning two of the three matches.
On court three, Koprowska's domination continued as she cruised to a 6-2, 6-4 win. Idaho's
Chenyue Xu also took her match on court six in straight sets (6-2, 6-4). Despite those two wins, the Vandals' red-hot start to Big Sky play faltered as the Lumberjacks took the match.
