MOSCOW, Idaho - The Idaho women's tennis team stole a victory over their in-state rivalry, taking Idaho State 6-1.
With another point in the winning column, the Vandals hold a 12-3 overall record, going 6-1 in the Big Sky. This marks the first time they have posted a dozen wins since the 2018-19 season.
Setting the tone for the day, Idaho took doubles points by securing two nail-biting wins. On court two,
Valentina Rodas and
Naomi Schraeder snagged a 7-6 win, with
Hanna Koprowska and
Diana Khaydarshina matching this and coming out on top 7-6.
Maintaining a dominant stance, five Vandals saw personal successes in singles action. Khaydarshina took her opponent on court one, bringing home a quick victory, while Davis and Rodas also ran away with their matches in two sets.
