LEWISTON, Idaho - Idaho men's tennis took the court in the comforts of the northern half of the state for the final time in the 2024-25 season.
The Vandals played their final match within the P1FCU Kibbie Dome a month prior, honoring senior Francisco Gay in his last action inside the largest college tennis facility in the world. To finish off the final slate in northern Idaho, UI traveled to Lewiston, hosting the Weber State Wildcats on Friday and the top-ranked Northern Arizona Lumberjacks on Sunday.
The first match against WSU commenced late in the afternoon at 4:00 PM and continued late as the sun set over the Gem State. The Vandals earned the doubles point with a 3-0 sweep and took this momentum into the singles, where Francisco Gay, Chetanna Amadike, Sebastian Medica, and Gabriel Moroder took home key victories to clinch the day for the Vandals.
