MOSCOW, Idaho - This week, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced its annual Team Academic Excellence and Honors Court awards for the 2024-25 academic year.
For the second year in a row, Idaho Basketball received the prestigious Team Academic Excellence for their work in the classroom. In order to be eligible for nomination, the Vandals had to average a team GPA of 3.0 or higher across the previous fall and spring semesters, a mark they hurdled with a 3.12 in the former and a program record 3.37 announced for the spring.
Idaho earned the NABC's team awards in the 2023-24 year as well for a successful stint that included the previous program record team GPA of 3.24.
From the 24-25 squad, Isaiah Brickner, Jojo Anderson, Julius Mims, and Takai Hardy also represented the black and gold on the Big Sky Spring All-Academic list, adding to the list of classroom accomplishments under head coach Alex Pribble.
