Previewing the Roster: Idaho 2025-26 Men’s Basketball

Blend of Size and Experience Defines Vandal Hoops Under Third-Year Head Coach Alex Pribble

MOSCOW, Idaho - The Idaho Basketball roster is set for the upcoming year, consisting of nine returners and six newcomers who are loading up the Vandals with impressive size and valuable experience for the 2025-26 season.

For the first time this year, take an in-depth look at the roster and get to know the men who will be lighting up the ICCU Arena this winter.

MEET THE TEAM
#0 - Brody Rowbury // Senior // Forward // Southeastern Louisiana
The 6'11" big man comes to Moscow by way of SE Louisiana in Hammond, traveling across the country, but returning to his home state of Idaho. The Meridian native started 81 games for the lions and was one of the most efficient players in the Southland Conference with the fourth-highest offensive rating (125.8), according to KenPom.com. As soon as he steps on the court in black and gold, Rowbury will be the tallest player to wear an Idaho jersey since the 7'0" Jack Wilson in 2019.

#1 - Trevon Blassingame // Redshirt Junior // Guard // Fairleigh Dickinson
"Tre Blass" is hungry to make his return to the court after redshirting the 2024-25 season with an injury. The year prior, Blassingame started 20 games out of 31 played, shooting 41.2% from the floor and 40.4% from the three-point line, finishing fourth on the team in the lattermost category with 23 makes. He was the ultimate teammate on the sidelines, and will bring added energy and leadership to this year's team, particularly on the defensive end of the court.

#2 - Talon Jenkins // Freshman // Guard // Meridian HS
An incoming freshman out of Bellingham, WA, Talon comes from a four-year varsity career at Meridian High School, where he was a team captain as a senior. In the 24-25 season, the 6'7" Jenkins averaged 20 PPG and 8 RPG, capturing the school record for most points scored in a quarter (20). A four-time All-State and All-Conference award winner, Jenkins earned an invitation to the Whatcom County All-Star game before beginning his career as a Vandal.

#3 - Biko Johnson // Senior // Guard // Fort Lewis College
Johnson joins Idaho by way of Fort Lewis College in Colorado, where he earned 1st-Team all RMAC honors as the second-leading scorer in the conference. With the Skyhawks, Biko recorded totals of 504 points (16.3 PPG), 78 assists, and 64 steals. Prior to Fort Lewis, Johnson spent the 2023-24 season at Nebraska Omaha and his freshman and sophomore campaigns at Western Nebraska College.

#5 - Isaiah Brickner // Senior // Guard // Marist
The Vandals' leading 3pt% shooter from the 24-25 season returns for his second season in Moscow. Playing all 33 games, Brickner shot 43.8% across the year and scored a season-high  20 points against Northwest. Brickner will add a tough veteran presence to the perimeter as a strong shooter and an aggressive defender.

#7 - Jack Payne // Redshirt Junior // Guard // Colorado State
Another Idaho native returning to his home state, Jack Payne became an instant presence for the Vandals last season. Playing in all 33 games and starting 32, "JP" averaged 10.8 PPG on 45.7% shooting, shooting 36.2% from deep. Payne's physicality led him to the second-most rebounds per game on the team (5.1) and the most among the returners. He ended the 24-25 regular season with an All-Big Sky Honorable Mention nod and an All-Tournament team nod. JP returns to Idaho as the only player in the Big Sky to start 30+ games, earn All-Conference honors, and a placement on the All-Tournament team.

#10 - Kristian Gonzalez // Junior // Guard // Mater Dei Catholic
Kristian Gonzalez returns as the most experienced player in a Vandal uniform, with a team-leading 61 games played at Idaho. "KG" is coming off of the best season of his career, leading the team with 11.4 PPG. He cemented his spot in the starting lineup, being one of the first five in 29 of 32 games. He was consistently a scoring threat for the Vandals, as he shot 44.7% from the floor while nearly tripling his shot attempts from his freshman season.

#11 - Titus Yearout // Redshirt Junior // Guard // Lapwai HS
The third of five Idaho natives on the 25-26 roster, Titus Yearout slowly earned minutes throughout the season with his high-effort defensive play. This culminated in a breakout performance vs. Portland State where he led the team with 14 points off the bench. Titus continued to develop, providing sparks at crucial moments late in the season. He helped the Vandals secure the program's first-round bye in the Big Sky Conference Tournament, as well as an appearance in the semifinals. Titus will provide key veteran experience for a Vandals squad that brings back a lot of it.

#12 - Jackson Rasmussen // Freshman // Forward // Utah Prep/Owyhee HS
Idaho native #4 on the roster, Jackson Rasmussen signed with the Vandals last November as the No.1 ranked high school prospect in the state of Idaho. Playing for Owyhee High School in Boise, Rasmussen was a three-year starter, three-time district champion, a two-time state champion, and the 2024 State MVP before transferring to Utah Prep. Jackson knows what it takes to play high-level basketball in Idaho, and the Vandal staff is thrilled to have him on the roster.

#14 - Kolton Mitchell / Redshirt Sophomore // Guard // Idaho State
The fifth player on the roster to call Idaho home, Kolton Mitchell established himself as one of the top freshmen, and one of the top point guards in the Big Sky Conference. As the only player on the team to start all 33 games, Mitchell averaged 11.1 PPG and 3.5 APG, while leading the team in total points with 367 and sinking the second-most threes in a season by an Idaho freshman (51). Just a redshirt sophomore, Kolton will enter the 25-26 slate as one of the most experienced underclassmen in the league.

#15 - Ewan Steele // Sophomore // Forward // Polaris Prep (Canada)
Coming to the Vandals from up north in Canada, Steele added to the Vandal frontcourt with his 6'9" frame. Playing in 13 games, he earned 21 points, 23 boards, and 3 assists on the season, which included eight rebounds vs. UC San Diego and seven vs. Oregon State. Shooting 46.7% in the minutes he received, Steele will have an opportunity to compete for an increased role in the winter.

#21 - Seth Joba // Junior // Forward // Vermont
Coming to Idaho from the University of Vermont, and originally all the way from Orchard Park, NY, Joba is one of the most traveled Vandals on this year's roster. Joba played in 26 games for a Catamounts team that won 20+ games each of the last two seasons. As a freshman, he competed in the NCAA Tournament against Duke. At 6'9", Joba is a true inside-out threat who shot 32.4% from behind the arc. His size and explosiveness will make him a great addition to the Vandals' frontcourt.

#22 - Tyler Linhardt // Senior // Forward // Washington
Earning a career high in minutes last season, Linhardt became one of the best sixth men in the Big Sky Conference. He showcased his versatility by playing multiple spots when needed and utilizing his toughness and quickness to outpace larger defenders under the rim. When Idaho needed a scorer, Linhardt did just that, notching twelve double-digit performances, including 25 and 23 points in back-to-back outings vs. Northern Arizona and Northern Colorado. Linhardt will be a key piece of Idaho's roster in his senior season.

#24 - Miles Klapper // Redshirt Sophomore // Guard // Bridgton Academy
In his first season following a freshman year redshirt, Klapper averaged 10.2 minutes per game, earning up to 27 in the non-conference match vs. BYU. In that game, he shot 3-4 from the floor and made his first career three-pointer while collecting four rebounds. He would follow that up with a career-high eight points vs. Evergreen State. Klapper finished the year with 43 total points and 31 rebounds, and is looking to earn more opportunities in his third year in Moscow.

#34 - Will Jenson // Freshman // Forward // Caldera HS
A 6'9" forward out of Bend, OR, Will Jenson was a force at Caldera High School his senior year. Averaging 18 PPG, 11 RPG, 1.5 BLK, and shooting 62% from the floor, he was awarded First-Team All-Conference and was the leading scorer and rebounder in his state tournament. Also named All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2024, Jenson holds his school records for most points in a game (33), most rebounds in a game (18), most blocks in a game (5), and single-season records for all three.
