BOZEMAN, Mont. – Sophomore transfer Ella Kozak put together a career-best tournament, including a first-round three-under 69 to finish 15th overall and lead the Vandals to an eighth-place finish at the Yellowstone Intercollegiate at Riverside Country Club in Bozeman, Montana.
 
Kozak recorded six birdies in the first round en route to the personal best score. She closed the tournament with a three-round score of 219.  
 
Sophomore Laura Caamaño and junior Zoe Newell were 11-over (227) to tie for 32nd while freshman Inkjung Charnchanayothin finished 12-over (228) to tie for 35th. Senior Kaylin Johnson finished 47th with a score of 232 (16-over).
 
The Vandals are back in action on Sept. 22-23 at the Kalispel Invitational at the Kalispel Golf and Country Club in Spokane.
