MOSCOW, Idaho - The Vandals officially entered conference play with a head-to-head 0-0 contest against in-state rival Idaho State.

Following the kick-off, the Vandals and the Bengals went shot-for-shot, each posting four shots in the first half. Making a scoring offensive effort,
Karli Yoshida-Williams got two out of two shots for the Vandals, forcing a save from the Bengal's keeper. Neither side was able to execute, despite Idaho getting three of its shots on target.

With a scoreless match going into the second half, Idaho and Idaho State picked up where they left off, neither squad gaining an edge over the other. The Vandals continued to make opportunities for themselves, posting three more shots and three corners but couldn't break the seal.

On the defensive end, the Vandal defense and goalkeeper
Paula Flores held off the Bengal offense for the entire 90 minutes, keeping the score even at 0-0.
