Kuntz, Tait Earn Big Sky Weekly Nods

MOSCOW, Idaho - Following historic performances last weekend, Keenan Kuntz and Hanna Tait have been named Big Sky Athletes of the Week.

After breaking the 23-year-old 60m school record in Idaho's season opener, Kuntz reset the mark on Friday, sprinting to a 6.61-second time. In the process, the sophomore broke the Big Sky record that was last set in 2018 and is now 24th in the nation this season.

Tait's massive personal best and school record jump of 6.31m is the 29th best by a DI athlete this season. The Grafton, Australia native posted a massive effort in the pentathlon at the Lauren McCluskey Memorial, scoring 3987 points, the best by a Big Sky athlete in 2026.

The set of weekly honors is Idaho's second and third of the season, following Shawn Twumasi Ampofo's nod on the week of January 26.
