MOSCOW, Idaho - On Monday, Eight Idaho Football alums earned the chance to showcase their skills and make an impression in front of scouts representing the two biggest leagues in the sport.
The NFL's Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, and Green Bay Packers were in attendance alongside the CFL's BC Lions to witness the Vandals run combine and positional drills in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome. Nate Azzopardi, Elisha Cummings, Isiah King, Xander Echols, Zach Krotzer, Maurice Heims, Donovan Parham, and Jhamell Blenman represented the black and gold in all three phases of the game.
Azzopardi, Blenman, King, and Krotzer were among the standouts of the day, putting up big numbers in multiple workouts. Krotzer's time of 7.58 seconds in the three-cone drill would have been far and away the fastest of all defensive tackles at the NFL Combine, Blenman's 19 reps in the bench press was more than any defensive back put up, and Azzopardi's 28 reps in the same would have been the fifth most of all offensive lineman in Indianapolis.

The eight Vandal alums will turn their attention towards the NFL draft, hoping to be the latest Idaho graduates to hear their names called on the big stage. Selections will run from April 23-25 in Pittsburgh, PA.
