Coeur d' Alene, Idaho – Idaho Men's Golf wrapped up play at the EWU Invitational; hosted by Eastern Washington at CD'A Reserve golf club, posting a three-round total of 293-296-302 (+27).

Brae Rogalczyk paced Idaho, carding rounds of 72-79-72 for a 223 (+7) to lead the squad. 

Idaho had balanced scoring the rest of the way: Ben Buchanan shot 75-74-75 (+8) and Carter Frisby countered with 71-72-81, also finishing at +8. Henrik Koglin carded 77-77-74 (+12), while Charley Simpson rounded out the lineup at 75-73-82 (+14).

Competing as an individual, Moritz Ampenberger shot 80-73-78 (+15).

"I'm really proud of the guys for this first time out in competition this season." head coach David Nuhn said. "There are several young Vandals getting valuable reps now. Reps that lead to learning and growth. 4 out of the 6 that played this week had less than 3 college tournaments under their belts. Brae Rogalczyk played a lot of solid golf, having two rounds of even par. Carter Frisby showed he can compete with a great day 1 score of 1-under par. Overall, if we can clean up some small stuff, and get a little better with our putters, I think this team is more than capable, and extremely talented. I'm excited to get back at it next week in St. Louis. The Vandals have a title to try and defend." 

Idaho returns to action next at SIUE Dolnec Invitational, September 28th - 29th, at the Gateway Club in St. Louis Missouri.
