MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho soccer battled Gonzaga to a 1-1 draw Friday night at the P1FCU Kibbie Dome, moving to 6-2-2 on the season.
The Vandals entered Friday's matchup with a 6-2-1 record and looked to build on their strong season. Idaho came out aggressive in the opening half, creating multiple opportunities and putting pressure on the Bulldogs while staying composed defensively.
Gonzaga struck first in the opening half, taking a 1-0 lead. Despite falling behind, the Vandals continued to push forward and responded before the half.

Mia Boltz with a crisp pass, setting up Boltz for a strong finish into the back of the net to bring the match level at 1-1.
The goal gave Idaho momentum heading into halftime, with the Vandals carrying their energy into the second half. Idaho continued to battle for control of the match, creating several opportunities as the Vandals searched for a another goal.
Idaho remained organized throughout the second half and continued to challenge Gonzaga's defense, while the Bulldogs looked for another opening in the attacking third. Neither team was able to find the deciding goal, sending the match to a 1-1 final.
The draw moves Idaho to 6-2-2 on the season as the Vandals continue through their 2026 season.

The Vandals will return to action Thursday, Oct. 1, when they host Weber State at the P1FCU Kibbie Dome which is set for 7 p.m.
