2008 Second-Team All-WAC
2008: Tate set indoor bests in the 3,000m and 5,000m during the season and finished 10th in the 5,000m at the WAC Indoor Championships. During the outdoor season, he ran the team's fastest 5,000m and 10,000m races, including a 33:36.48 in the 10,000m at the WAC Outdoor Championships, where he finished sixth and earned second-team all-WAC honors for the first time in his career. He also took 10th in the 5,000m at the meet.
2007: Tate competed in the distance events for the Vandals and set a personal best in the 5,000m run.
Personal: He is the son of David and Cheryl Tate. He was born June 18, 1987 at Bremerton, Wash. He competed in cross country and track & field for the Suns of Southridge High School and was a cross country team captain. He is majoring in Computer Science at Idaho.
