Biography

At Pacific: As a freshman in 2011, Schmidt had 10 total tackles and one-half tackle for loss.
High school: Graduated from Leilehua High School where he was an Oahu Interscholastic Association Red All-Star at linebacker. He was chosen to play in the HUB Goodwill Senior Bowl and earned Most Valuable Defensive Player honors.
Personal: Schmidt is the son of Peter and Moekowo Schmidt.
