RS SENIOR (SPRING 2021): Earned three All-America honors for his performance in the shortened spring season, including second team recognitions with the Associate Press and Stats Perform… Phil Steele FCS All-America Third Team… Second Team All-Big Sky (punter)… Honorable Mention All-Big Sky (kicker)… semifinalist for the FCS Punter of the Year Award… averaged 45.8 yards per punt, the fifth best average in program history… posted a net punting average of 44.0 yards per punt, the second best average in team history… placed 16-of-26 punts inside the opponent’s 20… went 9-of-10 on field goals, setting the Idaho program record for field goal percentage (minimum 10 attempts)… named the National Special Teams Player of the Week following his week one performance against No. 12 Eastern Washington that saw him average 5.06 yards per punt on seven attempts, including a 61-yarder… also earned ROOT Sports Big Sky Special Teams Player of the Week that week

 
RS JUNIOR (2019): Honorable Mention All-Big Sky – Punter… averaged 43.8 yards per punt, and topped 50 yards 21 times… drained all 39 PAT attempts… went 9-of-16 on field goals with a long of 38

RS SOPHOMORE (2018): Played in all 11 games as Idaho's punter and kicker...STATS LLC All-America Second Team punter...Phil Steele All-America Third Team punter...HERO Sports Sophomore All-America Honorable Mention punter...All-Big Sky First Team punter...averaged 44.1 yards per punt, ranking fifth nationally in the FCS...helped Vandals net 40 yards per punt, the top mark in the Big Sky and No. 2 in the nation...19 punts of at least 50 yards...career-long 80-yard punt against Southern Utah (Oct. 20), second-longest punt in school history and second-longest punt in FCS in 2018...made 8-of-11 field goal attempts with a long of 44...converted 34-of-36 extra point attempts.

RS FRESHMAN (2017): Played in all 12 games as Idaho's first-team punter and kicker...USA Today Freshman All-America punter...All-Sun Belt Second Team punter...two-time Sun Belt Special Teams Player of the Week...ranked 10th nationally and second in the Sun Belt averaging 44.6 yards per punt (66 attempts)...best punt average among FBS freshmen...connected on 12-of-17 field goals, with a long of 46 yards against Louisiana...1.0 field goals made per game ranked fourth in the Sun Belt and 70.6 FG percentage was seventh....converted 29-of-30 PAT attempts.

FRESHMAN (2016): Redshirted...joined program as a grayshirt in the spring of 2016 before redshirting during the fall.

High school: Played football and soccer at Lakeland...as a senior, kicked a 57-yard field goal in a state playoff game...converted 23-of-25 PAT attempts as well as seven-of-eight field goals.... earned first-team all-state honors as a junior and senior...first-team all-conference choice as a sophomore...in soccer, was named Inland Empire League Goalkeeper of the Year as a sophomore.

Personal: Son of JoAnn and Travis Coffey, who played for the Vandals from 1993-96...majoring in finance and economics.
