Biography

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2024): Played in two games for the Vandals.

FRESHMAN (2023): Appeared in four games... Complete 15 rush attempts for a total of 50 yards with a season-high of 13 yards.

HIGH SCHOOL: Mathaney’s career stats are nothing more than outstanding. He ran for 3,458 yards and 52 touchdowns during his time at Tumwater and helped lead the Thunderbirds to the 2020 State Championship and a runner-up finish in 2021. He earned First-Team All-League and First-Team All-Arena honors.

PERSONAL: On top of his athletic achievements, he also carried a 3.63 GPA and hopes to major in business management. His parents are Jason and Sherry Matheney and brothers Amir and Khalil.  Amir played defensive line for Eastern Washington.
